Second is Best 🥈

We had the best time participating for the third year in a row at the Minnesota State Fair and we are SO proud of how our scare-cat (yes, we’re making it a thing) came together this year.

We partnered with Nine Lives Thrift for a second year and loved seeing what you thought of our sweet creation. It was so fun to work on it in partnership and friendship. Our scarecat pays homage to the ways we worked alongside our communities, for our neighbors in need, earlier this year and it was quite a healing process to create.

We took all we learned from the last few years, and made our scarecat brighter and louder, and this year we earned the Red ribbon! We will be standing by the age old saying that second is in fact the best. (Don’t worry, we haven’t give up on first place 👀 ). We were incredibly honored to share our creation with the lines (yes, there were in fact lines for the scarecrows) of folks at the fair this year 🙌
